Driftless Harvest was envisioned back in 2014 while attempting to access poultry processing for our farm, Bryant Family Farms in SW Wisconsin. At that time we began working with a group of fellow poultry producers to build a plant as the need was there. The group has since dissolved however the need was still present. Nico and I came to the conclusion that in order for our customers to get the quality products that we strive to raise we need to handle the processing ourselves. Driftless Harvest was founded in 2021 thanks to being awarded a 2022 Wisconsin Meat and Poultry resiliency grant from the Department of Agriculture. This facility is different than the others, as this unit will come directly to your farm. Eliminating those long drives early in the morning. Or the uncomfortable conversation with the processor when he tells you that your birds won’t be cut up into parts because their staff didn’t show up. Driftless Harvest is a Veteran Owned, woman owned full service, USDA inspected on (your) farm poultry processing facility.
